Come and celebrate the remarkable and unique history of Maryborough through Urban Sketching. The weekend will uncover the distinctive and rich history of the places and buildings in the streets of Maryborough.

This is a great opportunity for local artists and community members to participate with visiting Urban sketchers from Brisbane.

What's on offer at your Heritage Festival Event?

The Maryborough Urban Sketching Weekend will have three sketchwalks all close together within the City Centre. For people new to urban sketching, a Sketchwalk is a route that sketchers can move along and select their preferred viewpoints to sketch.

The Sketchwalk finishes with a 'Throw Down' where all the sketches are placed on the ground so everyone can see the completed sketches, and photographs are taken.
