Guided Walk of the Cleveland Historic Precinct

Local heritage enthusiast, May Sheppard, will lead a walking tour which will follow, in part, the route of the original railway line that went from the current Cleveland railway station to Paxton Street near the Courthouse Restaurant. The tour will commence at Linear Park, diagonally opposite the Redlands RSL Club on the corner of North Street and Sommersea Drive, Cleveland, and will include the Grand View Hotel, the recently relocated Old Station Master's Cottage and the Old School House Gallery.

Participants will gain a broad view of what was proposed to be the original capital of Queensland.  Along with the guided tour, participants will be provided with a handout that will include a map of the area.
