Many fascinating and often overlooked tales of Toowoomba's wartime legacy will be revealed, with questions surrounding Toowoomba's unexpected association with submarines and its 18 air-raid shelters, including why the defence of the East Coast was strategically planned from this city instead of Brisbane.
