Pioneer Picnic

The Historic Logan Village Pioneer Picnic is a celebration of the History, Heritage and over 160 years of European settlement. The celebration will acknowledge the dedication and hard work that our pioneers went through to achieve what they did for us today.

The 2020 Celebration theme is ‘Back to Historic Logan Village which celebrates and showcases the European heritage to visitors and locals so they can enjoy and celebrate a part of life of a bygone era in a fun cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Our celebration will include the opportunity for you to bring along a picnic basket and enjoy the atmosphere of the village green, music and the arts from the district. This event offers the visitor an insight in pioneer life with display demonstrations and activities that formed part of everyday life more than 160 years ago while still enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the historic Logan Village green.

The combination of an old style picnic, music and an array of old style demonstrations, displays and activities for children in an outdoor setting will come together to make this a weekend one to remember.
