Miegunyah at Twilight

Miegunyah, meaning My Home is an elegant house built in 1886, richly decorated and furnished in the style of the late 19th century. The house is a living example of Victorian elegance and charm. Normally visited in the daytime, Miegunyah takes on a mellow appearance in the evening and visitors can imagine the Perry family relaxing in the sitting room near the piano. The art display Perspectives and Perceptions highlights the art works collected by QWHA, including some miniatures from the early years of Queensland settlement. Other Queensland artists will also be displayed.
