Weddings and Events

Tucked away is a nineteenth century rural gem – Wolston Farmhouse, only a short drive from Brisbane CBD.

National Trust Queensland is pleased to offer you the opportunity to enjoy your special moments at the historic Wolston Farmhouse.

Wolston Farmhouse offers the beautiful heritage farmhouse along with the surrounding garden settings for intimate ceremonies and receptions and the rural homestead and surroundings offers a variety of unique photo opportunities on the day.

Wolston Farmhouse is the backdrop to your special day and is only a venue hire property – we do not offer any catering or beverage set up this would be left to the Event & Catering Team of your choice.

For Ceremonies we do however include: the Arbour on the Fig Tree Lawns, or you can bring your own arbour, limited ceremony seating and PA & Microphone, and also includes Property Supervisor on site to ensure your event is exclusive and secure.

Ceremony Locations

Fig Tree Lawns: 200 standing, 100 seated

Reception Locations

Figtree Lawns: 200 standing, 100 seated

Terrace: 80 standing, 50 seated


We are only able to cater for wet weather options numbers of 50 and under seated. 
For a wedding or event that requires a marquee, a site inspection and full details will need to be provided before a quote can be offered. 

By hosting your event with us you are assisting in our mission as a not-for-profit charity, to assist National Trust Queensland to ensure we continue to conserve and advance our natural, cultural, and built heritage for future generations. 

Events

Wolston Farmhouse is the ideal venue for small boutique bespoke events, with an exclusive and private facility.

Birthday celebrations, product launches, wakes, team building events, sculpture exhibitions, food, wine, and music festival, auctions, car boot sale, lost trade fairs, twilight markets and cinema, murder mystery parties, car club meets. 

We are a venure for hire only, any catering would be left up to the organiser of the event.
